The Ever-Growing Need of Social Emotional Learning in School-Aged Children

Over the past 25 years children’s behaviors and expectations have changed to meet times. A change in societal values skills (e.g., 21st century skills) has affected child’s schema. This schema implications perception, awareness, emotional regulation, attention. For this reason, there needs be a conscious mindset shift accepting new value systems corresponding schemas that accompany them. As children of generation organize their daily lives, become altered reflect current environment resulting entering schooling system with perceptions, attention formed around state society. these children, are normal everyday life/interactions essentially product society who adapted situation. adaptation ultimately schemas. Therefore, perception take place, where should not seen as maladaptive, but rather reflection ways knowing. Influences such technology Hence, proactive perspective considered highly adaptable susceptible environment. One place can occur is K-12 school system. Together mind present-day schemas, changing need must considered.
